Supporting Students for Assessment Centre Success

We’re really looking forward to working with you and your students for the upcoming digital assessment centre. On this page you will find materials to support you in the promotion of the event, so you can share the benefits of attending and support students with their preparations.

What does the digital assessment centre involve?

On the day of the assessment centre, students will connect with our professional assessors via video conference, using our digital assessment platform, assess.digital.

Students will complete an e-tray exercise, a group exercise, and an interview. Students can select a job description from those provided to them for their interview to be based on. Choosing their job description is the only pre-work required.

Following the event, students will receive a personalised feedback report, highlighting their strengths and development areas.

For further information about the end-to-end process, please review the short video below.

Why should students attend the digital assessment centre?

The digital assessment centre is a fantastic opportunity for students to practise for the competitive reality of the graduate recruitment process. The event will be beneficial to help students compete for placements and graduate roles.

The video below can be shared with students to explain the benefits of attending and encourage them to register for the assessment centre.

What do students get from attending the digital assessment centre?

Personalised feedback report

After attending, students receive a personalised feedback report, highlighting their strengths and development areas, allowing them to instantly apply their learning at an employer’s assessment centre. We use criteria that is benchmarked against what employers are using, therefore giving a true reflection of how students would have been rated at an employer’s assessment centre.

Employability skills and increased confidence

We always receive fantastic feedback from students who attend our digital assessment centres.

As the experience accurately replicates an employer’s assessment centre, the opportunity to practise will give students a competitive edge when it comes to securing a placement or graduate role.

The digital assessment centre was fantastic, I felt comfortable and was able to practise in a real scenario with very helpful facilitators.

My assessor was brilliant in guiding me through questions. Their specific feedback was extremely helpful as they advised me to express my personality and add personal examples to answers. The next day I used the advice and obtained a graduate job – their reason for hiring me was for my authenticity. The mock interview and the feedback given was a massive factor in being chosen for this role!”
