Your Assessment Centre Exercises
The information below will help you to prepare for your assessment centre. As part of this event, you will complete the three exercises listed below where you will receive detailed and personalised written feedback from experienced graduate recruiters.
Interview
You will take part in a 1:1 interview via video conference, which will last 10 minutes. In advance of the interview, please think about the type of role or industry you would like to work in and the skills required for this. You will not need to share your CV during the interview.
Group Presentation
As a group, you will choose a topic from the brief available at the start of the exercise. You will have 25 minutes to prepare your presentation as a group. You will then have 10 minutes to deliver your presentation to the assessor, where everyone must take part. This will be followed by questions for up to 5 minutes.
Group Exercise
The group exercise is a collaborative task where you will work together as a group on a time-sensitive task. You will be presented with a scenario that requires you to make decisions and contribute your suggestions. As a group, you will review, discuss, and agree on what actions to take. You will then share these actions with the assessor, along with a brief explanation of your rationale.
All materials for your exercises will be provided to you on the day of the digital assessment centre. No pre-work is required for your exercises.
