Managing Director, Sophie Milliken and University Partnerships Manager, Louise Grimes attended the glamorous Northern Power Women Awards last night at the Hilton Deansgate in Manchester.
At the awards it was announced that Sophie has earned a place on this year's Future List. The Future List recognises the influencers, leaders and change makers who are making a difference in their environments and communities.
Sophie has been a long time supporter of women in business, championing Northern Power Women and the North East in particular.
Northern Power Women is a collaborative campaign to accelerate gender diversity from the North of England. It aims to transform the culture of organisations to increase opportunities for women and showcase role models and best practice for organisations that are helping to drive and leading economic growth. It engages women and men from all industries and business areas as ‘agents of change’ and connects them, collaborates with them and celebrates their achievements as campaign champions and advocates to drive gender balance in and from the north of England.
