We are embarrassed to note that it is over a month since we last posted on our news page! That said, we have been exceptionally busy working away on a number of projects and having lots of fun to boot.
So what kept us so busy in April? A high point was the delivery of an exceptional assessment simulation for the University of Liverpool at Anfield Stadium. The simulation was for 355 first year students and we were delighted with a high attendance rate of 96%. This was the first time we had run the event for first years and they were so impressive in their preparation and performance on the day – a real credit to the university and themselves. We saw all sorts of creativity and were delighted with the feedback from the students on the event and also the increase in confidence they told us they gained from attending.
We turned a big five years old on 12th April and celebrated with cakes for our clients and supporters, along with a little celebration for the core team. Turning five is a big achievement for a small business as most UK businesses do not reach this special milestone. Our birthday coincided with the news that we have been awarded a place on the Scale Up North East programme. The Scale Up programme works with businesses that can demonstrate both the hunger and the potential to achieve high levels of growth by 2021 and we are delighted to be identified in this category and very ready for the challenge ahead!
We have had the green light on five new university projects so have been preparing project plans for each client to ensure that we have everything set up to deliver our outstanding service. Sophie has been busy negotiating with new venues to take our assessment simulations to which has been fun.
An invitation to employers: we are excited to be collaborating with our friends at GradTouch in a few weeks. On May 24th, we will be running an early evening event in London for graduate employers to come together over pizza and beer to hear from both GradTouch and Smart Resourcing Solutions and share best practice across a range of graduate recruitment topics. Places are limited to first come, first served so get in touch to reserve your place.
