Next Steps
What do I need to do next?
1. Complete the registration form before Midnight 6th June 2022
2. Watch the pre-course workshop, this will provide you with an understanding of the background to career planning and help to ensure that you are familiar with terms and points of reference we will use during the bootcamp.
3. Review the rest of this web page and select one of the four job descriptions available for the assessment centre on the final day. Your assessment centre experience will be tailored to the job description you select, so we recommend that you select one which you feel best aligns with the type of opportunity you are seeking to pursue following your studies.
4. Please complete our online “Career Pulse” assessment, in our Career Toolkit resources, which will help us to understand how confident you are about your career prospects at present and which will help us to determine the extent to which your confidence and abilities improve during the bootcamp. To access the Career Pulse assessment, please visit Career Toolkit and click on “Career Pulse” from the top screen menu and then select the “Take Career Pulse” option:
5. Arrive on-time for the first face-to-face workshop on campus on Wednesday 15th June at 09:30am in 3Z015.
**Please remember to bring a laptop or mobile device to each session, as well as paper and a pen, so that you can make notes and refer to online supporting information during the course of bootcamp.**
6. Once you have completed the bootcamp, we would be grateful if you would complete the online feedback form to find out how helpful you feel the experience was and any ways in which it might be improved for the future. You can access the feedback form via this link, which will also be shared during the final online workshop on Friday 17th June: https://bit.ly/FET-bootcamp-feedback-2022
